Biography

This is Haoyi, a second-year master’s student in Computer Science at the University of California, Los Angeles. I’m fortunate to be advised by Professor Nanyun (Violet) Peng and to be a member of Peng’s Language Understanding & Synthesis Lab (PLUS).

Before, I graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Pure Mathematics, and Statistics. I joined Situated Language and Embodied Dialogue lab as an undergraduate research assistant advised by Professor Joyce Y. Chai.

I have also interned at Meta (Summer 2022) and Goldman Sachs (Summer 2021).
